Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly scalable architectures for machine-learning systems and platforms.
- Build and maintain real-time and batch-processing applications using Scala, Node.js, Apache Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Own features end to end, including planning, technology selection, architecture, implementation, code reviews, deployment, and monitoring.
- Deploy code to production daily using CI/CD tools.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, design, clients, and internal teams to deliver product features.
- Mentor and coach fellow developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- At least 7 years of hands-on server-side coding experience.
- Practical proficiency in Scala or Java.
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Familiarity with stream applications is advantageous.
- Proficiency using common AI tools.
- Experience mentoring and coaching developers.
- Ability to write clean, SOLID, resilient code and work collaboratively and autonomously.
