Responsibilities
- Support analysis, development, and review of fault-isolation and troubleshooting procedures and recommend design improvements.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve reliability issues in system and subsystem design, development, and implementation.
- Perform FMEA, reliability analysis, trend analysis, root cause analysis, and metrics development.
- Lead the FRACAS engineering process and maintain associated databases.
- Design, develop, analyze, document, prototype, and support testing of products, systems, and subsystems.
- Review customer requirements and develop cost-conscious designs supporting design-to-cost and design-for-manufacture goals.
- Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and services.
- Provide technical, budget, cost, and schedule input and report project progress.
- Communicate with company personnel and customers, participate in meetings, support proposals, and assist other engineers and support personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience and at least 2 years of experience.
- Experience with C, C++, or C# and strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Competent technical expertise and application-domain knowledge with the ability to work independently.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable time after employment is required.
- Preferred qualifications include Rust experience, production cryptography integration involving encryption, key management, or digital signatures, HAIPE implementation or integration experience, AI/ML application to software systems, and AI system operationalization or secure AI experience.
