Base Salary

$70k - $126k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Integrate an infrared threat simulation into a C++-based multispectral few-on-few simulation environment.
  • Collaborate with engineers, scientists, government personnel, and contractor teams on technical tasking.
  • Design and implement tools supporting the broader multispectral simulation.
  • Develop, code, test, and evaluate software implementations.
  • Provide feedback to development teams and partners and prepare documentation requested by the government customer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of applicable experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields.
  • Experience with C++, Linux, and modeling and simulation techniques.
  • Current and active Secret security clearance.
  • Strong English-language written and verbal communication skills, including strong writing ability.
  • Ability to work independently and under deadlines in a mixed government-contractor environment.
  • Preferred qualifications include Python, GPU computing, HPC resources, EO/IR sensor phenomenology, infrared threat systems, and prior Department of Defense software application experience.
