Base Salary
$166k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, test, and deploy federation infrastructure supporting various third-party services.
- Develop APIs that enable secure interoperability with external partners.
- Build backend services in Go focused on performance, observability, and reliability.
- Partner with frontend developers to build federation-aware UIs using React/TypeScript.
- Solve complex networking and protocol challenges for reliable federation.
- Implement federation handlers, event queues, and delivery guarantees.
- Work with Kubernetes and Terraform for service deployment and scaling.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize services in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Drive integration with other platform teams, security, and storage services.
Requirements
- Strong backend development experience with Go.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and distributed protocols.
- Experience implementing or consuming federation protocols like Matrix or WebRTC.
- Understanding of authentication/authorization and federated identity workflows.
- Kubernetes experience for managing workloads.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Terraform, and containerization (Docker).
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Currently possesses and can maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
