Responsibilities
- Design and implement full-stack software solutions spanning user interfaces and database queries.
- Maintain and update existing software systems.
- Develop software for critical tasks while meeting tight deadlines and resource constraints.
- Apply coding standards, review peer code, manage revision control and build processes, and perform testing.
- Triage issues and investigate root-cause failures.
- Balance user requirements with technical feasibility and long-term project goals.
- Mentor junior team members and provide expert guidance on technical approach, design, and scope.
- Collaborate with program managers and technical leads on next-generation critical systems, priorities, and timeline estimates.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Education or industry experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a comparable STEM field.
- Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining software in highly secure, resource-constrained, and/or air-gapped environments.
- Ability to navigate complex systems and established codebases and solve technical problems with limited oversight.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, maintained throughout employment.
- Proficiency in one or more modern full-stack programming languages, preferably C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java.
- Deep experience with SQL Server, including advanced query tuning and database optimization.
- Experience with full-text indices such as Solr/Lucene or Elasticsearch.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, Docker or Kubernetes containerization, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools and techniques.
