Responsibilities
- Provide development and production support for key software applications and systems.
- Define, analyze, estimate, develop, test, implement, document, and maintain programs and systems.
- Contribute to solution architecture deliverables, reference architecture application, reusable assets, and technical specifications.
- Partner with UX teams to develop accessible and usable solutions.
- Troubleshoot on-premise, cloud-native, and hybrid applications and solutions.
- Perform research, root-cause analysis, defect analysis, solution verification, and ongoing optimization.
- Recommend solutions that support business and production objectives and benefits realization.
- Identify issues, evaluate options, collaborate on resolutions, assess impacts, and escalate when needed.
- Communicate timely updates and key information to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field and at least one year of software development experience, or five or more years of related and applicable experience.
- Experience with software development technologies such as Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, C++, .NET, Java, or SQL.
- Experience troubleshooting and developing creative technical solutions.
- Strong analytical problem-solving, research, root-cause analysis, and solution formulation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with varied stakeholder audiences and build relationships to reach supported outcomes.
- Ability to collaborate with and coach or mentor team members while maintaining a positive, respectful, and accountable working style.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and manage time and organizational responsibilities independently.
- Ability to collaborate within diverse development teams, including global staffing and crowdsourcing models.
- Preferred experience working in an Agile team environment, mentoring or coaching others, and partnering with global staffing vendors.
- Eagerness to learn emerging technologies and stay current with industry trends.
