Responsibilities
- Develop, test, implement, document, maintain, and provide production support for software applications and systems.
- Analyze, estimate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems and defects through root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to solution architecture, reusable assets, technical specifications, and system integration decisions.
- Partner with UX to improve user experience and meet accessibility and usability criteria.
- Support on-premise, cloud-native, and hybrid applications and solutions.
- Recommend solutions that support business objectives, production outcomes, and benefits realization.
- Communicate timely updates and key information to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technology teams, business development, staffing vendors, and other partners to solve problems and deliver outcomes.
- Mentor or coach team members as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field plus at least one year of software development experience, or five years of related and applicable experience.
- Senior-level candidates require a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field plus at least two years of software development experience, or six years of related and applicable experience.
- Experience with software development technologies such as Angular, NodeJS, TypeScript, C++, .NET, Java, or SQL.
- Preferred experience with MEAN full-stack development or strong object-oriented development.
- Preferred experience working in a SAFe/Agile team environment and with test-driven development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and solution formulation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, stakeholders, and team members and adjust communication style to the audience.
- Ability to collaborate, mentor or coach others, manage priorities and deadlines, maintain information integrity, and work effectively in changing environments.
- Ability to support diverse development models, including global staffing and crowdsourcing, and remain current with industry trends.
