Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable, highly available, low-latency distributed systems for compliance and verification workflows.
- Lead software architecture, technical design, development lifecycle execution, and complex projects from inception through delivery.
- Mentor engineers, review code and design documents, delegate work, and provide guidance on architecture, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with security engineers, product managers, and engineering peers on strategy, roadmaps, and new product development.
- Establish software development, documentation, and code-quality best practices.
- Manage feature prioritization, project planning, stakeholder communication, and commitment tracking.
- Monitor and operate production services to drive operational excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
