Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain real-time data pipelines for financial market data.
- Work with various asset classes to ensure timely and accurate data processing.
- Collaborate with product, trading, and risk teams to understand requirements.
- Develop mechanisms for integrating market data feeds from exchanges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues and ensure data integrity.
- Continuously monitor the performance and health of data pipelines.
Requirements
- At least 8+ years of professional experience implementing low-latency, high-throughput data pipelines.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and challenges in real-time data pipelines.
- Familiarity with financial market data and asset classes like equities and options.
- Strong familiarity with Linux/BSD.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP and UDP networking.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and collaborate effectively.
