Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI/ML platform components such as training clusters, feature stores, inference services, GenAI, vision, RAG, and NLP capabilities.
- Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code for scalable deployments using Terraform and ARM templates.
- Implement and operate pipelines for automated model training, testing, and deployment.
- Integrate AI services with existing systems through APIs, messaging, and data pipelines.
- Monitor performance, reliability, and model drift, and establish alerting and incident-response runbooks.
- Optimize systems through capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster-recovery strategies.
- Write and maintain reusable code and libraries in C#, Python, and Java.
- Collaborate with architecture, data science, DevOps, security, and product teams and document system designs and standard operating procedures.
- Lead demos, technical deep dives, and knowledge-sharing sessions and translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years building and operating AI/ML platforms.
- Proven experience delivering production-grade AI services at scale.
- Proficiency with cloud platform services for compute, storage, and networking, including AWS or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience building MLOps pipelines with GitLab CI, Argo CD, and MLflow.
- Advanced Python skills, including asynchronous programming and multithreading, with familiarity with C# or Java.
- Experience designing RAG and agentic workflows using LangChain and LangGraph.
- Deep knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Experience with Kafka, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Beam for data ingestion and processing.
- Experience implementing observability and alerting with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Understanding of data-pipeline security and GDPR/CCPA implications.
- Excellent spoken and written English, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, documentation, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to stay current with AI/ML, MLOps, and platform-engineering trends.
