Base Salary
$115k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert for reliable, secure, and performant platform and application operations.
- Design, document, create, and maintain highly available systems and reusable developer workflows, automation, and tooling.
- Build and operate cloud-focused platforms, Kubernetes container orchestration, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability capabilities.
- Partner with application development and business teams to translate strategic objectives into scalable technical solutions.
- Influence architecture, engineering standards, best practices, and technology direction while supporting continuous experimentation and learning.
- Mentor and develop team members through coaching, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
- Provide tier 2 and 3 escalations for platform-related issues and questions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8+ years of hands-on Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SysOps/SRE experience with demonstrated people and thought leadership.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native solution architectures and related platform support, including cybersecurity, infrastructure automation, and observability.
- Proven experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and expertise in cloud-native automation strategies.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code, with Terraform preferred, and using GitHub and YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience implementing and operating container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Experience integrating SAST and SCA vulnerability-management tooling with SDLC toolchains.
- Experience using generative AI tooling to improve software development and testing productivity.
- Expertise scripting with Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Ability to work hands-on, collaborate across technology teams, provide architectural guidance, and mentor less experienced engineers.

- Base salary range of $115,000-$225,000 per year, with potential discretionary incentive compensation and bonuses.
