Base Salary
$61k - $123k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain embedded software features using C and C++.
- Investigate and resolve software issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and test engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and software development processes.
- Create and maintain software documentation, unit tests, and development artifacts.
- Support project execution with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Follow coding standards and Agile development methodologies.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in a related field with one year of relevant experience, or three years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing and developing complex software systems and software code.
- Experience with C, C++, software design patterns, test-driven development, and continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Strong technical proficiency, creativity, independent thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to multitask.
- Preferred: five years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or three years with a master’s degree.
- Preferred: experience with data analytics, data-driven solutions, embedded systems development, and real-time or multithreaded software concepts.
