Responsibilities
- Define and execute the innovation roadmap for SME managed switching solutions.
- Lead architecture decisions for next-generation SME switching platforms supporting 800GB+ switching speeds.
- Drive AI-powered network management, edge computing, IoT-optimized switching, cloud-native integration, and security innovation.
- Define a 3–5 year technology roadmap and evolve switching platforms toward software-defined, cloud-native, and AI-enhanced architectures.
- Establish platform strategies, internal technical standards, and contributions to relevant industry standards.
- Build customer and channel-partner innovation partnerships and represent the company as a technical thought leader.
- Lead patent portfolio development, R&D investments, academic partnerships, and startup ecosystem engagement.
- Establish rapid prototyping, customer validation, and iterative innovation processes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering; a PhD is preferred.
- 10–15 years of switching software development experience with a proven record of product innovation.
- At least 5 years of experience developing products for SME markets or similar customer segments.
- Deep, recognized expertise in switching technology development and market-driven innovation.
- Proven record of delivering breakthrough product innovations with measurable market impact.
- Experience with intellectual property development and patent portfolio management.
