Base Salary

$218k - $327k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop C++ components for ISP control/configuration and data flow management.
  • Integrate and maintain vendor ISP libraries into the camera software stack.
  • Drive system-level design decisions balancing image quality, performance, and latency.
  • Work with ISP algorithms such as Auto Exposure, Auto White Balance, Noise reduction, HDR, and tone mapping.
  • Establish best practices for ISP bring-up, tuning integration, and image quality debugging.
  • Develop optimal imager register settings by collaborating with the imager vendor.
  • Debug image quality issues using raw frames, ISP statistics, and camera pipeline logs.
  • Strategize ISP roadmap by collaborating with Camera Hardware team and external vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field with 7+ years of experience.
  • Strong C++ experience in modern C++ with embedded systems development.
  • Solid understanding of Camera ISP concepts, imaging pipelines, and hardware accelerators.
  • Strong knowledge of camera hardware including image sensors and SoC architecture.
  • Familiarity with low-level debugging including registers, memory, and timing issues.
  • Experience with Linux or Embedded OS camera stacks.
