Responsibilities
- Design and develop algorithms in the Motion Planning stack.
- Extensively test algorithms through various testing methods.
- Develop tools for visualization and debugging.
- Analyze metrics from fleet testing to prioritize next steps.
- Optimize runtime and memory efficiency of Motion Planning software.
- Coordinate with other autonomy teams for input integration.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Motion Planning or Software Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 4+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years, or a PhD.
- Experience in relevant Robotics/Motion Planning subspecialties.
- Proficiency in modern C++ programming and software engineering.
- Industry experience with production-quality, performance-critical code.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
