Base Salary
$200k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud- and on-premises computer vision and machine learning models that support on-device perception systems.
- Train, fine-tune, optimize, and deploy models for semantic segmentation, feedforward 4D geometry, and learned preference modeling.
- Use aerial survey imagery, production delivery data, and synthetic data to generate high-fidelity priors and predict deliverability.
- Build tools and infrastructure for model evaluation, validation, training, data annotation, and reliable field operation.
- Work across data pipelines, training infrastructure, and distributed training systems to ship production features or models approximately every six weeks.
- At the Senior level, lead architectural decisions and experimentation; at the Staff level, own roadmaps for offboard models and launch new efforts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience for Senior or 8+ years for Staff building and deploying deep learning-based perception systems.
- Experience with 3D geometry, semantic understanding, or mapping from remote sensing data.
- Strong knowledge of classical computer vision, including camera calibration, epipolar geometry, and structure-from-motion.
- Hands-on experience with CNN, transformer, and foundation-style model architectures in production.
- Familiarity with training, data annotation, and evaluation pipelines, along with comfort debugging data, infrastructure, and distributed training systems.
- Experience deploying models in real-world, high-stakes robotics or autonomy applications is preferred for Senior and required for Staff.
- Staff candidates should have experience initiating new efforts and creating staged roadmaps for challenging machine learning tasks.
