Base Salary

$138k - $160k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack AI-driven web applications and microservices using Python, Java, and React.
  • Build, deploy, and optimize backend API services with FastAPI and Flask for real-time document processing and large-scale data pipelines.
  • Develop researcher dashboards, administrative consoles, and data visualization interfaces with React.
  • Integrate LLM APIs and RAG pipelines, including prompt engineering, cost optimization, hallucination heuristics, and output evaluation, into production systems.
  • Design and manage PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB data storage and retrieval solutions.
  • Implement search and information retrieval solutions using Elasticsearch.
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor Docker-based microservices on AWS, including AWS S3.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers, product managers, designers, and engineering teams on human-AI workflow tools and applied AI research products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
  • At least 3 years of full-stack AI software development experience, including backend APIs and modern frontend development.
  • Experience with Python for backend development, data processing, and machine learning or NLP workflows.
  • Experience developing backend services with Java or an equivalent object-oriented programming language.
  • At least 3 years of JavaScript frontend development experience, including 2 years with React.
  • At least 2 years of experience with FastAPI and/or Flask for RESTful web services.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing, implementing, and consuming APIs across distributed architectures.
  • At least 3 years of experience with relational databases and MongoDB for structured and unstructured data management.
  • Experience implementing search and information retrieval solutions with Elasticsearch.
  • At least 2 years of experience integrating LLM APIs and RAG frameworks, including LangChain, into production AI applications.
  • Experience with NLP techniques such as named entity recognition, text classification, and topic modeling using NLTK, SpaCy, or Scikit-Learn.
  • At least 2 years of experience collaborating with AI researchers to deploy AI models into production systems.
  • Experience containerizing and deploying applications with Docker on AWS, including AWS S3.
  • Experience may be gained concurrently.
