Responsibilities
- Prototype and develop AI agents, including micro-APIs for hallucination detection and conversational resolution.
- Build and integrate agent interfaces, dashboards, backend APIs, RAG systems, knowledge bases, custom toolchains, and function-calling capabilities.
- Create, test, tune, and version prompts and apply current AI agent and LLM research to prototypes.
- Develop and optimize Python-based backend pipelines and agent services for production use.
- Embed agents in web, chat, and API-centered environments and implement monitoring, logging, dashboards, and real-time performance metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering, product managers, and UX designers to turn requirements into practical AI product experiences.
Requirements
- Experience writing clean, maintainable Python code.
- For the Software Engineer track, practical experience with React, modern JavaScript or TypeScript, and server-side web development using frameworks such as Node.js, Django, or Express.
- For the Applied AI track, Python development skills and understanding or experimentation with LLMs, agent frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, and prompt engineering.
- For the Applied AI track, a degree in computer science or a related field and relevant research experience such as undergraduate or graduate laboratory work.
- Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with NLP or voice-based AI products, cloud environments, and reading technical documentation in English are preferred.
