Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and operational quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in C++, C, or Python.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or working with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, 1 year of technical leadership experience, and experience developing accessible technologies.
