Base Salary
$87k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug embedded software components for electronically controlled earthmoving systems.
- Participate in and guide software development teams and collaborate with cross-functional product design teams on electro-hydraulics, powertrain, and operator-interface features.
- Perform requirements analysis, concept development, software architecture, and design reviews for embedded systems.
- Use software tools and electronic instruments to troubleshoot and debug embedded systems.
- Provide technical support to factory, Supply Management, and Product Support during product development phases.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members when needed.
Requirements
- Programming proficiency in C or C++.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code and software development tools.
- Experience with Jenkins pipelines, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, hardware interfaces, data sheets, and electronic schematics.
- Experience with CAN communications and the UDS protocol.
- Experience with JDOS or Emb32 development platforms.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent related work experience.
- Preferred experience includes FreeRTOS, MathWorks Simulink, Stateflow, Real-Time Workshop, compilers, in-circuit debuggers, embedded software architecture, electrohydraulic or electromechanical systems, project management, mentorship, and leadership.
