Responsibilities
- Develop, test, document, and troubleshoot Java web applications for sales and operations teams.
- Translate functional and business requirements into technical specifications and working code.
- Write and execute unit and system tests before user testing.
- Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate with developers and technical leads.
- Assist support teams with troubleshooting and support deployment and other system activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years of business-application development experience, or bachelor's and master's degrees with 1+ years of such experience.
- Experience with Java, Angular or GWT front-end development, Git, and Oracle or other relational databases.
- Ability to convert functional requirements into technical specifications and write and execute unit and system tests.
- Strong communication, analytical, technical, business, teamwork, customer-service, and professional skills.
- Preferred experience with Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Kubernetes, Docker, REST or SOAP web services, and Visual Studio.
