Responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines and queries for business controls, risk metrics, and reporting.
- Build cross-platform integrations between messaging and productivity applications to automate onboarding, approvals, compliance, and other business processes.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into practical, scalable enterprise solutions.
- Partner with IT Security, Legal, and Engineering teams to meet privacy, traceability, and global security standards.
- Own tools from design documentation through production debugging and high-stakes escalations.
- Write tests, establish monitoring and alerting, troubleshoot production incidents, and participate in on-call rotations.
- Promote code quality, documentation, maintainability, and engineering excellence.
- Onboard team members and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in software development or enterprise IT automation roles.
- Ability to write high-quality code for features of moderate complexity with multiple dependencies.
- Experience writing tests and establishing monitoring and alerting systems.
- Experience independently troubleshooting production incidents and participating in on-call rotations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: expertise in enterprise-scale administration and automation frameworks.
- Preferred: proficiency in Python, SQL, and LLM frameworks such as LangChain or RAG-based architectures.
- Preferred: ability to work through ambiguity, collaborate with stakeholders, and demonstrate leadership through team onboarding and engineering excellence.
