Responsibilities
- Design, build, and implement enterprise infrastructure platforms across cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware domains.
- Build reusable automation frameworks, golden-path templates, workflows, and AI-assisted remediation solutions using Ansible Automation Platform and related DevSecOps tooling.
- Operate and enhance GitLab CI/CD, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and other software delivery platforms.
- Apply automation, monitoring, observability, and optimization techniques to improve infrastructure availability, performance, reliability, security, and compliance.
- Develop event-driven, self-healing, policy-as-code, and infrastructure-as-code solutions for enterprise environments.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure performance and reliability issues and guide infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.
- Manage infrastructure engineering processes and projects in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to lower-level professionals and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to establish platform engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware technologies.
- Strong Ansible Automation Platform experience, including YAML/Jinja2 playbooks, RBAC, automation mesh, credential management, Event-Driven Ansible, and AI-assisted remediation workflows.
- Hands-on GitLab CI/CD experience, including pipeline templates, runner configuration, protected branches, and security scanning gates.
- Experience administering JFrog Artifactory and configuring SonarQube quality gates and code-quality enforcement.
- Experience with REST APIs, Git-based source control, Podman, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong Python and Bash scripting skills, including infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, and production tooling.
- Expertise with OpenTelemetry, custom instrumentation, collector configuration, and observability pipelines for traces, metrics, and logs.
- Knowledge of networking, security hardening, RBAC, system performance tuning, and regulated enterprise environments.
- Preferred qualifications include 6 or more years of platform engineering, infrastructure automation, or DevSecOps experience; experience with OPA, Terraform, Azure, AWS, and regulated financial services, healthcare, or government environments; and the ability to communicate technical concepts to executive and technical audiences.
