Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement enterprise infrastructure technology platforms across cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware domains.
  • Build reusable automation frameworks, golden-path templates, workflows, and scalable solutions using Ansible Automation Platform and related DevSecOps tooling.
  • Develop and administer GitLab CI/CD pipelines, runners, branch protections, security scan gates, and platform engineering workflows.
  • Operate and enhance JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, container, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation capabilities.
  • Implement observability practices and OpenTelemetry pipelines for traces, metrics, and logs across service meshes, APIs, and event-driven platforms.
  • Create AI-assisted remediation, agentic automation, event-driven, and self-healing operational patterns.
  • Apply monitoring, optimization, troubleshooting, and performance techniques to maintain infrastructure availability and reliability.
  • Manage infrastructure engineering projects and processes in accordance with organizational policies, governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate technologies and improve infrastructure standards and developer experience.
  • Provide technical guidance to lower-level technical professionals and lead infrastructure processes and designs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional infrastructure engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware technologies.
  • Preferred bachelor's degree with 6 or more years of platform engineering, infrastructure automation, or DevSecOps experience, or an equivalent combination.
  • Strong Ansible Automation Platform experience, including YAML/Jinja2 playbooks, RBAC, automation mesh, credential management, Event-Driven Ansible, and AI-assisted remediation workflows.
  • Hands-on GitLab CI/CD experience, including pipeline templates, runner configuration, protected branches, environments, and SAST, SCA, and secrets scanning.
  • Experience administering JFrog Artifactory and configuring SonarQube quality gates and code-quality enforcement.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, Git-based source control, Podman, Docker, and Kubernetes workload management.
  • Strong Python and Bash scripting skills and experience with infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, and AI-assisted code-generation patterns.
  • OpenTelemetry expertise covering instrumentation, collector configuration, and observability pipelines for traces, metrics, and logs.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, security hardening, RBAC design, system performance tuning, and regulated enterprise environments.
  • Experience with OPA, Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tools, and Azure and/or AWS deployments is preferred.
  • Experience in regulated financial services, healthcare, or government environments is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, ownership, and ability to explain technical complexity to executive and technical audiences.
