Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve product configuration, code bug, user access, and functionality issues within established SLAs.
  • Support multiple applications across higher environments and geographic cloud regions.
  • Review logs and file archives using ELK, Logstash, Kibana, Splunk, AppDynamics, and related production support tools.
  • Participate in weekly support ticket reviews and communicate technical information to stakeholders.
  • Contribute code to J2EE software applications and understand development code for debugging.
  • Respond to product support tickets and requests professionally and promptly.
  • Document research, stakeholder communication, and issue resolution in runbooks.
  • Coordinate with development, product owners, configuration management, and QA on ticket resolution, testing, and deployment of fixes.
  • Provide on-call support for production incidents as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields with 4–5 years of industry experience.
  • At least 5+ years of technical experience with SaaS applications, logs, configuration, coding, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills and a good understanding of Java fundamentals and open-source technologies.
  • Experience with tools and technologies including ELK, Logstash, Kibana, Splunk, AppDynamics, Java, J2EE, XML, SQL, JDBC, JSF, Angular, JUnit, JIRA, Service Desk, Eclipse, Jenkins, Go-CD, Maven, Git/Stash, Tomcat, Spring, and AWS.
  • Ability to learn multiple Decision Management products and services and keep application knowledge current.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work professionally with stakeholders, peers, internal teams, and management.
  • Familiarity with support ticketing systems, SLAs, testing in higher environments, and production incident response.
