Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated tests for fintech trading platforms.
- Increase automation coverage to reduce manual testing and accelerate defect detection.
- Execute backend testing for data validation and frontend-to-backend consistency.
- Perform end-to-end and integration testing across internal and third-party applications.
- Debug, document, and track issues using bug-tracking tools in collaboration with developers.
- Improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to align testing with requirements and use cases.
- Share testing insights and best practices with team members and stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers of all levels and promote a high-performance QA culture.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance test automation.
- Solid knowledge of test theory and its practical application.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive approach and effective cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C# is advantageous.
- Experience with Git.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Familiarity with trading or investing is advantageous.
- A university degree in Computer Science or another IT-related field is nice to have.
- Experience with SQL, Solace, Kafka, Protobuf, gRPC, REST, Postman, Insomnia, Graylog, or Kibana is advantageous.
