Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AI and non-AI applications using coding agents such as ClaudeCode.
- Develop backend services, APIs, platforms, and financial solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product owners, product strategy, sales business teams, and other stakeholders from ideation through deployment.
- Contribute to technical decisions, conduct code reviews, perform testing, and maintain high standards of code quality.
- Architect solutions that improve product functionality and user experience.
- Support maintained applications to help ensure client satisfaction.
- Participate in or drive complex projects with minimal oversight and deliver features iteratively.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and governance requirements in a regulated financial environment.
Requirements
- Experience developing production-grade software applications.
- Strong programming skills in Java and modern software development frameworks.
- Knowledge of scalable architectures, microservices, REST, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of Git, Linux, Docker, Jenkins, Tomcat, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Knowledge of test-driven development and tools including Jbehave, TestNG, and Selenium.
- Familiarity with or willingness to work with event-driven architectures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and product-oriented thinking skills.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI application development through spec-driven development is strongly recommended.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or fintech is a plus.
- Fluent English is required; French is an asset.
