Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain banking applications using Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement solutions.
- Maintain code quality, structure, documentation, and automation standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development-process, tooling, and technical-standard improvements.
- Support the maintenance and evolution of existing banking applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of software development principles, application architecture, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Interest in banking operations and financial systems; banking or financial-services experience is advantageous.
