Responsibilities
- Create executable implementation plans covering changed files, work sequencing, and verification tests.
- Direct AI coding agents, review their output, and remain accountable for implementation correctness.
- Develop rigorous verification strategies using unit tests, mutation checks, verdict-function results, and other validation methods.
- Work across multiple agent sessions and worktrees while reviewing parallel development streams.
- Design, implement, and support end-to-end software solutions for Unity Video products.
- Contribute to build pipelines, containerization, DevOps tooling, test automation, and shared engineering libraries.
- Mentor peers, provide technical guidance, and uphold strong software development and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience; the qualifications section specifies 4+ years building robust front-end architectures and rich user interfaces.
- Hands-on experience directing AI coding agents to build real features for a large customer base.
- Experience working in a large codebase and developing complex, large-scale applications and APIs.
- Experience implementing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies and reading or writing test code.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and sound judgment when evaluating agent-generated output.
- Preferred experience includes streaming or media systems, video pipelines, Git worktrees, internal tooling or conventions, CI/CD, test automation, and DevOps.

- Target base salary range of CAD 100,000–120,000.
