Responsibilities
- Build, test, and maintain web pages, applications, and features using PHP, JavaScript, and CSS with a strong emphasis on front-end interface design and user experience.
- Support and extend public-facing distribution platforms, internal operational tools, and AI-based application capabilities.
- Improve application performance, security, scalability, monitoring, logging, and system reliability using AWS infrastructure and AWS Lambda serverless functions.
- Diagnose, debug, and resolve technical issues across production and non-production environments.
- Participate in Scrum events and structured change and release management processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate platform requirements into clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience developing and maintaining applications with PHP, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Professional proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, and CSS for application development and maintenance.
- Comfort working with SQL Server and MySQL environments.
- Interest in working across multiple programming languages and technical eras.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Python Lambda scripts deployed with AWS AI Gateway.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Perl scripts.
- Interest in using AI to augment web-based applications.
- Experience with application monitoring, logging, and improving system reliability is valued.
- Experience in fintech, regulatory compliance, or high-availability data distribution is valued.
