Responsibilities
- Build and deliver full-stack features powering AI agents in HR and Finance workflows.
- Own services and user experiences from development through production operations.
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers, product managers, platform teams, and cross-functional partners.
- Apply strong engineering practices while working in an iterative, team-oriented environment.
- Share knowledge, mentor teammates, and raise the technical bar across the engineering pod.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience with a web development framework, with Python and Flask, Django, or FastAPI preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with relational databases, with PostgreSQL preferred.
- Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments, with AWS preferred.
- Familiarity with modern distributed-system architecture and tradeoffs.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability practices.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
- Exposure to Java and TypeScript is a plus.
- Experience working in fast-paced, agile, cross-functional environments and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Benefits
- Base pay range is $140,000 CAD to $210,000 CAD for the Vancouver location.
- The role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus and annual refresh stock grants.
