Responsibilities
- Lead the development and launch of core workforce planning product features.
- Design and develop both user-facing UI features and backend functionality.
- Architect new and existing systems for reliability, scalability, speed, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, UX designers, and product managers on technical designs and customer-friendly experiences.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, software development practices, and operational rigor.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Requirements
- 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language; expertise in Java or another object-oriented language is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
