Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, product, and design teams to build and evolve the platform vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Build and enhance scalable, user-centric front-end solutions for the AI-driven contract management platform.
- Own multiple functional areas from development through production using a “you build it, you run it” approach.
- Contribute to a supportive and iterative engineering culture through knowledge sharing and mentorship.
- Work effectively with legal professionals and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience with TypeScript and React.
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with multiple programming languages and paradigms is preferred.
- Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Experience with modern distributed systems and their associated technology tradeoffs.
- Advanced knowledge of modern software development practices, including DevOps, automated testing, and observability.
- Successful experience working on cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, reasoning, research, and problem-solving skills.
Benefits
- Primary Vancouver base pay range is $112,000 CAD to $168,000 CAD, excluding bonus and equity compensation.
- The role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus and annual refresh stock grants.
