Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support web applications and user interfaces with multiple features and external dependencies.
- Implement and support Flow Production Tracking, also known as ShotGrid, integrations including embedded web views and action menu items.
- Maintain and update existing web applications.
- Partner with Production users to understand workflows, gather requirements, and translate use cases into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with designers and translate designs into effective user experiences.
- Provide direct and white-glove support while identifying opportunities to improve systems and workflows.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience as a front-end engineer.
- Experience working in the animation, VFX, or games industries.
- Experience with Flow Production Tracking.
- Proficiency writing TypeScript and reading and comprehending multiple programming languages.
- Experience with React, Vite, npm, and Node.js.
- Strong computer science background and thorough understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
- Experience collaborating with designers and translating designs into user experiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work directly with Production users.
- Preferred experience with Vue.js, Java, Python, PyQt, GraphQL, and gRPC.
- Willingness to collaborate, compromise, and balance technical limitations, production needs, and personal design vision.
