Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, maintainable software solutions for fraud signals and identity-data processing.
  • Build and evolve high-performance systems within big-data infrastructure while improving reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with Product, DevOps, QA, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical tasks and deliver features.
  • Design reusable architectures and guide implementations from concept through deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, collaborative problem-solving, and technical strategy decisions.
  • Identify and address technical debt, scalability challenges, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Champion testing, automation, continuous integration, and engineering standards.
  • Use AI-assisted tooling to draft, refactor, and review code while validating generated output against project requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience developing enterprise-grade applications.
  • Deep experience with C# and .NET Framework or Java and Spring Boot, plus scalable architecture and modern software design.
  • Strong experience with MySQL, NoSQL databases, and schema design.
  • Experience building microservice or distributed-system applications and architectures.
  • Experience building front-end platforms with React, Bootstrap, Material UI, and CSS, including microfrontend architecture and modular UI/UX design.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable, performant, maintainable production systems.
  • Proficiency with Git or similar version-control systems.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, unit testing, test automation, and automated web-service testing.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, threats, security standards, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to follow and contribute to standards for integrating AI contributions into the codebase.
  • Preferred experience with AWS ECS, Athena, Lambda, OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, and OAuth2.
