Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software components for labor-event ingestion, aggregation, reporting, and configuration.
- Build AI-assisted greenfield services using Amazon Q, Amazon Bedrock, and related tools.
- Design large-scale, low-latency data-processing solutions using AWS services, databases, and stream-processing frameworks.
- Modernize legacy infrastructure by consolidating services, migrating to AWS-native architecture, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in coding standards, code reviews, technical discussions, system design, scoping, estimation, and delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and document technical concepts for team members and stakeholders.
- Identify technical and project risks and take initiative to mitigate them.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
