Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain multiple production-scale Kubernetes clusters across cloud service providers.
- Develop, maintain, and document infrastructure automation, configuration management, deployment processes, and operating environments.
- Collaborate with development, systems, and architecture teams on cloud-native infrastructure, pipeline automation, and advanced platform techniques.
- Improve Kubernetes capabilities across functional areas and deliver production-quality environments optimized for performance and reliability.
- Deploy and manage operating systems and applications on cloud platforms using infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Support the safety and security of operating environments and participate in infrastructure or code deployment pipeline initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required; the posting also cites 8+ years in technology-related roles or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor of Technology (BTECH) or an undergraduate degree, preferably in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
- Experience implementing infrastructure automation and configuration management in a DevOps environment.
- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes at production scale, including Raw Kubernetes, EKS, GKE, or AKS.
- Experience coding and deploying AWS, Azure, and other cloud services with an infrastructure-as-code mindset.
- Experience with at least one automation, scripting, or deployment language such as Python, Ruby, Go, PowerShell, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Strong Linux administration experience.
- Familiarity with service mesh, API gateways, GitOps deployments such as ArgoCD, Flux, or Helm, and Kubernetes security policies such as Kyverno.
- Preferred experience implementing CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions and working with Software as a Service environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and organizations.
