Base Salary
$105k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of medium-complexity platform engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD initiatives.
- Design, implement, and improve developer platforms and engineering workflows.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and related tooling.
- Drive improvements to Kubernetes environments and deployment standards.
- Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop and maintain automation using Python, Groovy, and Bash.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex build failures and deployment issues.
- Improve platform observability through logging and monitoring.
- Champion secure engineering practices and compliance tooling.
- Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance productivity.
- Communicate technical designs and operational readiness across teams.
- Participate in operational support and on-call rotations.
- Mentor Software Engineers and early-career engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to independently own medium-complexity engineering initiatives.
- Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on experience supporting Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong experience with Docker and containerized application development.
- Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Strong programming and automation experience using Python and Groovy.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Experience with release management practices.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
- Solid understanding of secure automation practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
