Responsibilities
- Define firmware features for digital DC/DC controllers used in server, datacenter, telecom, and related applications.
- Develop and execute firmware validation test plans.
- Design and implement clear, documented example code and customized firmware for customer requirements.
- Provide firmware-related technical support to customers and internal teams and troubleshoot issues.
- Create and maintain firmware development documentation, programming guides, and debugging procedures.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and training for team members and customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of firmware development experience, preferably focused on power electronics or DC/DC controllers.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of digital control systems and power electronics principles.
- Experience with microcontroller programming and real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with embedded-systems debugging tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with I2C, PMBus, SPI, UART, and CAN communication protocols.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- A BSEE or MSEE in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, English communication, teamwork, and independent-work skills.
