Base Salary

$127k - $171k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and develop simulation models, visualizations, virtual environments, platforms, and frameworks.
  • Identify simulation requirements and modeled-system dynamics with stakeholders.
  • Perform design, modeling, simulation, testing, analysis, data collection, and data processing to optimize system performance.
  • Validate, verify, and refine simulation code, models, test procedures, and test environments against real-world or benchmark data.
  • Document and maintain technical code, algorithms, specifications, simulation-model descriptions, and test results.
  • Integrate simulation software with devices and systems in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Apply current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and software engineering methods.
  • Modernize, migrate, sustain, and update legacy simulation software for new platforms.
  • Perform simulation software project management functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and debugging software with high-level programming languages, including C or C++.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Government citizenship eligibility.
  • Preferred: Level 3 qualifications including a relevant bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of directly related experience, or 13+ years of related relevant experience.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience with release tools, configuration management, monitoring, virtualization, and containerization.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience with artificial intelligence software development.
  • Successful completion of the required CodeVue technical assessment and the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process.
