Responsibilities
- Architect and provision the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform for scalable, repeatable, version-controlled infrastructure deployments.
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications and microservices with Kubernetes.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for software building, testing, and deployment.
- Administer hybrid AWS and Azure cloud environments, including tool deployment, infrastructure configuration, Windows Active Directory, and user accounts.
- Manage Windows Server, Group Policy Objects, and System Center Configuration Manager environments.
- Collaborate with cyber engineers on STIG evaluation, analysis, and implementation.
- Integrate automated security and code scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support deliverables and releases, create product and infrastructure documentation, and manage deployment orchestration.
Requirements
- Master's degree and 12 years of relevant experience, or bachelor's degree and 20 years of relevant experience.
- Active SECRET or higher security clearance.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and complex infrastructure-as-code deployments.
- Experience building, deploying, and managing containerized environments with Kubernetes.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Operational experience with enterprise Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Experience administering Windows Server, Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and System Center Configuration Manager.
- Experience with STIG analysis, deployment orchestration, and security/code scanning tools.
- Experience with integrated development environments such as Coder.
- CompTIA Security+ certification required for baseline DoD compliance.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Preferred AWS or Azure professional-level cloud certification, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Preferred Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist certification.
- Advanced familiarity with GitLab for code repositories, pipeline execution, and backlog management.
