Responsibilities
- Design and implement systems-level software, focusing on networking, low-level I/O, and hardware interfaces.
- Develop high-performance, low-latency code for storage and network hardware interactions.
- Debug and optimize OS-level issues in Linux-based environments.
- Ensure system quality through rigorous testing and benchmarking.
- Collaborate with storage hardware to optimize performance.
Requirements
- Fluent in C or C++ with a deep understanding of low-level programming and memory management.
- Strong understanding of OS internals, including threading, concurrency, memory management, and I/O subsystems.
- 2-4 years of experience in systems-level software development, such as databases or networking.
- Experience shipping and deploying performance-critical systems in production environments.
- Self-motivated problem solver with the ability to drive projects to completion.
