Responsibilities
- Support enterprise hosting environments and manage server lifecycle activities, platform maintenance, upgrades, reliability, and stability.
- Provision and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure and participate in cloud governance, optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Administer enterprise relational or non-relational databases, including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance analysis, backup, and recovery.
- Support password management, privileged access controls, security patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance findings.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual work and improve monitoring, alerting, observability, disaster recovery, and resiliency.
- Use AI-assisted operational tools and contribute to intelligent automation, AIOps capabilities, and operational copilots.
- Participate in defined on-call and maintenance rotations, including weekends, and collaborate with global platform leadership and engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience in platform engineering with hands-on infrastructure as code work, such as Terraform.
- Experience administering relational or non-relational databases.
- Working knowledge of cloud services, automated deployment pipelines, unit testing, secure coding, version control, and CI/CD practices.
- Foundational understanding of AI concepts and experience using AI-enabled development tools or integrating an AI service into an application.
- Working knowledge of security by design principles and Linux or Windows Server administration.
- Ability to communicate progress and blockers, collaborate with stakeholders and engineers, and approach experimentation with curiosity and discipline.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, weekend-inclusive on-call or maintenance rotations, and hybrid work three days per week onsite in Indaiatuba/SP.
- Preferred qualifications include workflow automation, low-code orchestration, enterprise integrations, PL/SQL, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, AI evaluation, responsible AI, product management, discovery techniques, service design, test automation, and observability experience.
