Responsibilities
- Design and build automated tests for web, API, backend, and functional scenarios.
- Develop scalable automation suites aligned with sprint and release cycles.
- Create reusable automation libraries, utilities, and test data components.
- Support CI/CD integration, configure test execution pipelines, and generate automated reports.
- Analyze automation results to identify defects and quality trends.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA analysts to define test coverage and automation scope.
- Perform requirements analysis, participate in sprint ceremonies, and estimate automation work.
- Maintain script versioning, execution logs, documentation, traceability, risk-based testing, and validation evidence.
- Mentor others on automation best practices.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Provar.
- Strong scripting or programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Experience with API automation tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Experience executing automation within agile delivery models and knowledge of test design techniques including boundary, equivalence, data-driven, and risk-based testing.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce applications such as Health Cloud, Data Cloud, or Lightning UI.
- Preferred experience building reusable automation frameworks and using performance or accessibility automation tools.
- Preferred experience in regulated or validated environments such as GxP, cloud environments such as AWS or Azure, and ISTQB or QA-related certification.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, ownership, and accountability skills.
