Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, performant technical designs aligned with architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices.
- Apply software reliability engineering standards throughout development.
- Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery and communicate blockers and delays.
- Mentor and support junior engineers while contributing to technical solutions and product goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of ten years of experience.
- Expertise with the software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
- Technical leadership skills, including issue resolution, mentoring, and supporting junior engineers.
- Understanding of the team’s domain, objectives, deliverables, business strategy, and technical strategy.
- Ability to collaborate across all aspects of product development and fulfill end-user solution requirements.
- Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and best practices.
- Effective communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and influencing skills.
