Responsibilities
- Onboard parts of the technology stack to support an API-first, composable service architecture.
- Architect and implement services with product teams within the retail cloud.
- Build full-stack solutions using TypeScript and JavaScript on AWS Serverless infrastructure.
- Develop responsive, maintainable, and well-tested React frontend components.
- Publish and maintain APIs, SDKs, and CLIs for internal and external consumers.
- Own services throughout design, development, deployment, maintenance, and iteration.
Requirements
- 7+ years of full-stack development experience spanning frontend and backend systems.
- At least 3 years of TypeScript experience and strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, CloudFront, and CodePipeline.
- Experience owning a microservice or internally facing product end-to-end.
- Ability to own the full software lifecycle from design and development through deployment and maintenance.
- Preferred experience publishing SDKs, CLIs, or developer-facing APIs.
- Preferred familiarity with composable commerce, microservices architecture, infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CDK or Terraform, and retail technology or e-commerce engineering.
