Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to solve complex technical problems and contribute to design and implementation.
- Translate requirements into engineering solutions, break down work, and create clarity for team members.
- Experiment with AI-assisted engineering tools and cloud services and provide feedback from real-world testing.
- Deliver robust, reusable solutions that integrate with other teams’ workflows and products.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, propose improvements, and model engineering standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain high-quality codebases, and assist with technical documentation.
- Work on cross-functional projects while managing alignment and interdependencies.
- Coach and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 11+ years of software development experience.
- Experience with Python, Java, .NET, TypeScript, Go, or similar modern programming languages.
- Experience designing and building APIs, services, and distributed systems.
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
- Strong experience with object-oriented programming, micro frontends, component-driven architecture, API integration patterns, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with modern application design patterns including Domain-Driven Design.
- Experience across backend, frontend, and integration capabilities.
- Ability to use AI-powered engineering tools safely and effectively to improve development productivity and quality.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Experience with automated testing, observability and monitoring, DevSecOps practices, and Agile software delivery.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
