Base Salary
$166k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Platform Engineer for containerized environments with a focus on cybersecurity.
- Provide leadership to a cross-functional team managing security controls for cloud services.
- Develop solutions to monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents.
- Collaborate with teams to establish and enforce security policies throughout the system lifecycle.
- Support security assessments and incident response planning.
- Maintain documentation of security architecture and prepare reports on security findings.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI poly.
- 7+ years of engineering experience securing containerized/Kubernetes environments.
- 3 years of experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, preferably AWS.
- Strong experience in implementing security controls and continuous monitoring.
- Experience managing and mentoring cybersecurity analysts and engineers.
- Experience with government regulatory frameworks and security standards.
- Demonstrated experience implementing controls for cloud and DevSecOps services.
- Experience with log aggregation and analysis tools.
- Experience performing periodic security checks for continuous monitoring.
- Experience with incident response and forensic analysis techniques.
- Effective communication skills for conveying technical concepts.
- CISSP or equivalent certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
