Base Salary
$120k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with customers to design, implement, and deploy end-to-end AI systems and workflows.
- Translate vague customer objectives into clear technical specifications and scalable production implementations.
- Own customer technical engagements from early discovery through deployment and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain production-grade software systems using modern programming languages, preferably Python.
- Build reliable, observable systems with attention to latency, throughput, quality, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Debug and optimize AI systems across inference infrastructure and distributed workloads.
- Collaborate with customer engineering teams throughout the AI deployment lifecycle.
- Work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to improve platform capabilities.
- Navigate ambiguity with sound technical judgment and make thoughtful tradeoffs.
- Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability in execution.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages, preferably Python.
- Experience working directly with customers in technical environments.
- Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines and the lifecycle of model development.
- Experience deploying and operating production AI/ML systems in cloud or distributed environments.
- Familiarity with modern AI infrastructure and tooling such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for complex technical discussions.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ability to execute effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
