Base Salary
$224k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build software systems for recruiting, onboarding, finance forecasting, capital tracking, contract analysis, and accounting workflows.
- Forward-deploy with finance, treasury, accounting, legal, recruiting, and people teams to translate their processes into structured data and generated work.
- Build production features that integrate purchasing, contract, construction, hiring, and financial information into continuously updated operational views.
- Use LLMs and agentic systems to extract obligations, prices, deadlines, penalties, SLAs, and other information from business documents.
- Identify problems, design solutions, and ship independently while creating foundations that other engineers can extend.
- Drive adoption of software by domain experts such as finance leads, lawyers, recruiters, auditors, and controllers.
Requirements
- Production experience shipping code in Go, Python, or TypeScript, with the ability to learn additional languages as needed.
- Experience building real features with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-weight models, as well as MCP servers and agentic frameworks.
- Daily experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.
- Ability to work autonomously, move quickly under deadlines, and build maintainable foundations.
- Credibility with non-engineering experts and experience driving adoption of software in operational workflows.
- Strong product judgment and ability to create intuitive interfaces aligned with users’ real work.
- Bonus experience with ERP and fixed asset accounting, FP&A, cash forecasting, capital planning, structured finance, treasury operations, contract lifecycle systems, ATS or HRIS integrations, or LLM extraction from legal and financial documents.
- Bonus familiarity with Ashby, Greenhouse, Rippling, or Workday.
