Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative, mission-critical Android platform solutions for Android-enabled two-way radios.
  • Apply software engineering principles and problem-solving skills throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Deliver products or services to end users in collaboration with software and cross-functional teams.
  • Work with Android frameworks, device functionality, and related platform technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science.
  • Knowledge of Java or Kotlin programming.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and the full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Preferred experience includes Linux kernel concepts, Android development, Android SDK, Android NDK, Android Studio, C/C++, Linux device driver frameworks, hardware schematics, diagnostic equipment, and automated build and deployment frameworks.
